Ingredients

For Red Sauce:

  • 150g Ground Meat
  • 680g tomato puree
  • 1 can mushroom
  • 1 garlic minced
  • 1/2 white onion minced
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • oil

For White Sauce:

  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 5 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For Assembly:

  • baking pan / foil pan
  • 8pcs lasagna noodles
  • spinach *optional
  • vegan cheese *optional
  • nutritional yeast *optional
  • fresh basil *optional

Procedure

Red Sauce:

In a frying pan over medium-high heat, heat some oil. Saute garlic and onion.

Once garlic is aromatic and onion is translucent, add in mushrooms. Cook until slightly browned.

Add in tomato puree and WTH Ground Meat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Let cook for about 3 minutes then set aside.

White Sauce:

In a saucepan over low heat, mix water and flour. Stir to dissolve until it becomes slightly thick.

Add soy milk and mix.

Add in nutritional yeast and Italian seasoning. Stir continuously to get prevent lumping.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Set aside.

Assembly:

Cook lasagna noodles as per the package instructions. Once cooked, set it aside soaked in room temperature water and let cool.

Gather your red sauce, white sauce, lasagna noodles, spinach for assembly.

In your baking pan, spread the red sauce as your first layer.

Put in a layer of lasagna noodles.

Put in another layer of red sauce.

Put a layer of white sauce. Place spinach on top.

Repeat steps 4-6 until the baking pan is filled.

For the last layer, put in the last layer of red sauce.

Add cheese and sprinkle nutritional yeast on top for a more cheesy flavor.

Bake in your oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15-20mins.

Garnish with fresh basil. Serve and enjoy!
