The Sustainability Challenge

What is sustainability for you? Is it about reducing your plastic consumption, supporting local brands, growing your own food, or living a plant-based lifestyle? It doesn’t necessarily have to be one or the other. It could be all of the above!

SustainablePH started as a blog by Ms. Koleen Davila-Palaganas, the founder, and now a start-up NGO aiming to raise more sustainability leaders here in the Philippines, together with its daughter organizations SustainablePH Youth and Society of Sustainability Practitioners.

In this month’s SDG Focus of SustainablePH, “Zero Hunger and No Poverty”, they shared some #Sustainabilitips on backyard gardening, home composting, and a lot more about food tips that are applicable in Philippine settings and #Sustainabit of information that will surely enrich your knowledge about our current environmental standing. Both are posted on their Facebook page every Monday and Saturday, respectively.

Watch out for their upcoming projects and events. Learn2Lead – a byte-size learning and go-to library, making sustainability education accessible for all for free and Sustainability Unplugged – the annual brand of SustainablePH and SSP’s major flagship event and community-gathering featuring conversations on topics related to advancing sustainability leadership in the country, its challenges, and opportunities.

This is what we love about SustainablePH. As an NGO working towards building a community of sustainability leaders, they make sustainability inclusive for everyone. We share the belief that anyone can contribute in their own way using their unique strengths and talents.

At WTH Foods, we choose to be sustainable in the food that we produce. We want to encourage everyone to be more sustainable in their everyday meals. Share your tips on sustainable food choices and we’ll reward you with plant-based goodies to enjoy!
