WTH Foods and its website WTHFOODS.PH are committed to protecting your privacy. You can visit most pages on our site without giving us any information about yourself. However, you may opt to create an account or place orders, where personal information requested is necessary to process your order and/or register your account.
We do need information to provide services. This Privacy Statement explains data collection, retention, and use in strict compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
Collection of your Personal Information
Account creation and online shop
We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you and allows us to contact you. Personal information collected by WTHFOODS.PH is necessary to (1) build your account with WTHFOODS.PH, (2) to process your orders, (3) to personalize the delivery of content to you. All the information we collect from you will be for statistical, demographic, and marketing purposes. These statistics and aggregate reports will not contain any personally identifiable information. Your identity is kept anonymous. We will not give out your information or sell it to others.
To create a WTHFOODS.PH account, you will need to provide the following: Full Name, Email Address, Contact Number(s), Delivery Information (Delivery Address), System Information (Username & Password).
When you place an order through online platforms (web and mobile), WTH Foods selected sales team has viewing access of your select information solely for the purpose of processing your online order and forwarding the same third party courier service (if needed) that shall handle the delivery to you. WTH Foods sales team shall receive and process the following selected information: Full Name, Contact Number(s), Delivery Information (Home or Office Address), Order Information, Products Ordered, and Remarks that you provide in the order form.
Contact forms
When you reach us through the Contact Us page on the website, we will use your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you our response and other marketing materials. Such email address shall not be shared with outside parties.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Also, collecting this information serves as a way to limit abuse of the system, as it helps us detect duplicate or “shill” accounts. Your personal information is never displayed publicly. We require that you provide your account name or “handle” to be listed with your submissions.
When you create an account or place an order online, we will ask for your street address, city, state/region, zip code, country, email address and contact number. We may use this information to contact you in the unlikely event that we need to get in touch and your contact number or email address is not working. We will ask your first and last names.
WTH Foods may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on WTHFOODS.PH; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of WTHFOODS.PH, or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of WTHFOODS.PH or its designees, users of forum and/or the services associated with forum, or members of the public.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Control and rights to your data and personal information
